When every word counts..

Dreams. They rose like high tides, crashing against my heart, dying as silent whispers on my lips. I watched them play; Beauty, Paradox, Passion, Trust.

Finally, I spoke, you didn’t. You smiled.

Today you bend down, to place roses on my grave. I see them. Tears. My man, don't..please don't..it hurts, worse than death, sweetheart..

(Thanks RS , for the 55 word tag..)

Biju, Why are you so generous?? :P..That really is a shower of compliments..Thanks! (I am grinning!!)

Krish,
You didn't understand?? :O..:(..Well, at the face of it, I thought it sounded like a love story..I wanted to write one, without using the word 'love'.

I don't know what exactly you refer to by 'undercurrent' - Is it the idea of the story or the motivation that you didn't understand??

Yeah, I do agree that there is a lot to be read behind those words, but 55 words is all that I had! Still need clarifications? :)

Sunita, Thanks! :) I saw your profile..but realised you don't have a blog! :O

Sriram, well, I would just say you haven't been looking at the blogroll properly all these days..Ever since I have put up ur name, it has been *peace* sriram because, there is another Sriram, I have blogrolled before you..Time to buy glasses, eh?? :P

"just to be nice, this is an awesome post."
- How kind of you! To be nice in return, thanks! :)

Very well written story...reminded me of the final scene in Phantom of the Opera where Raoul finds a rose placed on Christine's grave by the phantom...that screenshot would have fitted the story perfectly.
